Ms Rebecca Ng

She is an experienced speech and language therapist who graduated from the University of Queensland (Australia) with a Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology. She is a full member of SHAS (Speech-Language and Hearing Association of Singapore), now known as Speech and Language Therapy Singapore (SALTS), since 2004. She is also a fully registered speech therapist under the AHPC (Allied Health Professionals Council). Her professional experience gained both in Singapore and Australia, includes speech and communication treatment in many settings, among others: special schools, early intervention centers, multi-disciplinary team settings and private practice.

Rebecca is a fun-loving therapist who believes that every child is special and has the ability to learn.
She celebrates every small milestone that a child makes in their learning journey, and rejoices with them. She also builds strong rapport and a good relationship with both the child and their parents.

Rebecca worked in the Early Intervention Program in ARC (Autism Resource Centre, Singapore) under the supervision of Autism consultant Anita Russell. Thereafter, she joined a private therapy centre, providing paediatric speech-language and communication therapy to children. She then started her own practice, providing individualized home-based speech therapy to children all over Singapore. In year 2016, Rebecca joined Fei Yue EIPIC and held a position as a senior speech therapist. Over there, she had the opportunity to work with children with various diagnosis and challenges such as Down’s Syndrome, Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Speech and Language Delay etc. She worked with children with articulation deficits, feeding difficulties, social-communication and behaviour challenges, on top of speech and language disorder and communication skills deficits.
Besides being a clinician, Rebecca also provided clinical supervision to junior therapists and speech pathology students.

Besides being a clinician, Rebecca is also a mother of four beautiful daughters. Her love for children has driven her desire to teach, guide and see the children that she work with, grow, and develop in their abilities to have meaningful interactions and communications with their families and others around them.
